Hybrid coronary revascularization is a planned combination of a percutaneous coronary intervention and a bypass operation in patients suffering from coronary artery disease. The aim of Rolf Harskamp’s research is to provide an overview of the current use, indications, procedural techniques and the possible pitfalls of hybrid coronary revascularization. He pays particular attention to older patients and those with diabetes.
