Atrial fibrillation (AF) is a complex form of cardiac arrhythmia, resulting from multiple pathophysiological mechanisms. The aim of Sébastien Krul’s research is to study the role of the autonomic nervous system in the pathophysiology of AF and investigate minimal invasive surgery with autonomic modulation as a treatment for AF.
