Quality health care is safe, effective, patient-centred, timely, efficient and equitable. An important way to measure quality of health care is to evaluate it from the patient’s perspective. With her research, Sorien Kleefstra aims to contribute to knowledge on how to use the patient’s perspective to monitor quality of care, as measured in patient satisfaction research or patient rating sites.
