Smadar Cohen’s research focuses on person markers in Spoken Spontaneous Israeli Hebrew (SSIH), which stands for spoken Hebrew that is used spontaneously, without considering the circumstances, listeners or the expected register. Cohen analyses the system of personal markers in SSIH and how this compares to the systems described in Hebrew grammar books and textbooks.
