Cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) is an important source of stroke, especially in young people. Due to the variability of clinical manifestations, CVT can be difficult to diagnose. Yvonne Zuurbier describes the results of studies we performed on the epidemiology, clinical course and outcome of CVT.
