Inês Domingues Figueira De Faria studies therapeutic processes undergone by infertile couples in Mozambique, where infertility problems can have major social consequences. She uses the concept of therapeutic navigations to explore the way in which respondents’ ways of coping with infertility, seeking out different kinds of treatment and pursuing them involve social negotiations as well as therapeutic bodily interventions.
