Jos Kraal explores opportunities to improve secondary prevention interventions for patients after a cardiac incident. He focuses on developing and evaluating a novel intervention for low-to-moderate cardiac risk patients, consisting of home-based exercise training with telemonitoring guidance. He compares the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of this intervention with conventional centre-based training for patients in this group entering cardiac rehabilitation.
