Childhood cancer survivors have a high risk of developing health problems resulting from the treatment they underwent as children, one example being fertility problems. This substantial risk of long-term morbidity is reflected in higher levels of health care use by this group. The aim of Anna Font-Gonzalez’s research is to generate evidence on health care use and social outcomes for survivors of childhood cancer through studies linking medical records. She also investigates the quality of fertility preservation guidelines and guideline development methodology for children, adolescents and young adults with cancer.
