Sebastian Öner’s research focuses on material interfaces in nanoscale photovoltaics. He uses nanowires as a highly sensitive platform to study the impact of those interface properties on the overall photovoltaic performance. He uses his findings to propose designs for more efficient practical nanowire array solar cells.
