Periodontology is the fundament of all dental disciplines. A healthy periodontium (i.e. the tissues that support and surround the teeth) is a prerequisite for achieving optimal results for any kind of dental treatment, including prosthodontics or orthodontics. The aim of Adriano Azaripour’s research is to use 3D histology to increase our insight into periodontal tissue functioning in health and disease.
