Fusarium infection is a life-threatening fungal infection that occurs relatively often in patients with reduced immunity. Abdullah Al Hatmi aims to gain a better understanding of the genus Fusarium in humans by stuyding, among other things, the taxonomy, clinical aspects, molecular epidemiology and antifungal susceptibility.
