The aim of Fortunate Sindisiwe Shabalala’s research is to explore adolescents’ access to and utilisation of available HIV services such as testing and retroviral treatment, as well as their adherence to the treatment. The second objective is to gain in-depth insight into the experiences of adolescents living with HIV in different family contexts in Swaziland, from the perspective of adolescents themselves.
