Spondyloarthritis is the most common form of chronic inflammatory arthritis. The aim of Troy Noordenbos’s research is to delineate the role of the innate immune system in the key pro-inflammatory pathways driving chronic inflammation in Spondyloarthritis. He sues peripheral synovitis as a model, and focuses specifically on the role of macrophages and mast cells.
