Noël van Dooren interviews 28 landscape architecture offices from the Netherlands and surrounding countries, asking them about time, representation, professional practice and the development of the discipline. The research is not restricted to drawings, but also explores the thinking behind drawings by way of qualitative interviews. Van Dooren uses a theoretical and historical framework to put these examples of ‘drawing time’ in perspective.
