Studies have shown that children living in a family where a member has a mental illness are at risk of developing various mental health problems themselves. Louisa Drost aims to develop and evaluate a new intervention for 12 to 24 year olds with a mentally ill family member, i.e. adolescents and young people with an increased risk of developing a mental illness themselves. She does this by creating an intervention that is more accessible and better tailored to young people than existing interventions for this group.
