Adrienne Strong's research focuses on maternal care and maternal risk in the Rukwa region of Tanzania. He focuses on sequences of events at the Mawingu Regional Hospital context of historical, institutional and political economic structures that shape maternal risk in this region, through 23 months of mixed-methods ethnographic fieldwork.
