Atom-chip experiments have been demonstrated to be a versatile tool in studying quantum physics in cold atoms systems. Rydberg atoms have exaggerated properties that make them good candidates to be used to study quantum information and quantum simulations protocols. Nataly Cisternas San Martín combines both systems, studying Rydberg physics in an atom-chip experiment.
