Sanne Akerboom researches the role of the public in wind farm decision-making procedures. This concerns an interdisciplinary study into the concept of public participation on the basis of fundamental legal and political science theories. She also describes and analyses the implementation of the concept of public participation in the Netherlands in general and wind farm specific legal frameworks.
