Cyclic peptides are a highly potent class of molecules for therapeutic applications as they generally exhibit high selectivities. Increased proteolytic stabilities and low toxicities. Development of general and facile methods to produce such peptides could accelerate therapeutic development. Gaston Richelle describes a new method for synthesising multicyclical peptides.
