Exposure to stress can have a string impact on learning and memory. Sylvie Lesuis studies the effects of experiences earlier in life on cognitive decline related to ageing or Alzheimer's disease. She also investigates how glucocorticoid stress hormones determine memory formation, and how and where these memory traces are stored within the brain.
