Several internationally renowned scientists will speak at the tenth edition of the International Conference on Computational Science (ICCS) at the Royal Tropical Institute from 31 May to 2 June.

Several internationally renowned scientists will speak at the tenth edition of the International Conference on Computational Science (ICCS) at the Royal Tropical Institute from 31 May to 2 June. The ICCS is jointly organised by the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and the University of Tennessee.

NWO director Jos Engelen and Peter Sloot, professor of Computational Science at the UvA and president of the ICCS, will open the conference in Amsterdam. Robbert Dijkgraaf, president of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) and University Professor at the UvA, will also be in attendance.

The ICCS is the most important computational science conference in the world. The congress will also mark the launch of a new journal: Elsevier Science's Journal on Computational Science. For more information about the conference and the new journal see below.
