The study marathon, which precedes the national demonstration on 21 January, has begun. 72 hours of lectures to highlight the value of a vital academic community. The marathon started on 17 January in Utrecht, followed by Groningen. Now, it’s Amsterdam's turn.
On 19 January, the lectures began at 08:59 in the Oudemanhuispoort for students from the HvA, Inholland, the VU and the UvA.
Robbert Dijkgraaf, Marita Mathijsen Jit Peters, Job Cohen, Jasper van Dijk and Boris van der Ham, among others, will give lectures. All academic disciplines are covered. Professors, teachers, politicians and alumni are participating to show their commitment to developing the Dutch knowledge economy.
