This year, a record number of 93 innovative ideas will compete for the Amsterdam Science & Innovation Award. The finale is presented by Isolde Hallensleben, former ‘Jakhals’ and well-known from the Dutch TV program ‘De Wereld Leert Door’.

AmSIA, Amsterdam Science, Innovation Award 2013

The event takes place on Wednesday, 5 June. The nine finalists are challenged to convince the jury of their innovative idea with a short pitch and stand the chance of winning 5,000 Euro. 

The Amsterdam Science & Innovation Award is a yearly competition. Researchers, employees and students at the UvA, HvA, AMC, VU, VUmc and institutes at the Science Park Amsterdam have submitted their innovative, useful ideas. A jury from the industry and the Amsterdam universities and research institutes selects 9 finalists.

The programme and the finalists will be announced by the middle of May.
