Employees with a temporary appointment or contract, who feel that they have not been treated in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement Dutch Universities (CAO NU) and/or the law on work and security (WWZ), can contact Remko Koopman, the confidential adviser for individual legal status (VIR).

The confidential adviser was appointed by the UvA’s Executive Board to issue a binding opinion on these individual cases before 31 October. The Executive Board will follow his advice and share their decisions regarding the individual cases with the employees concerned by 6 November at the latest.
