In its meeting of 21 March 2017, the Executive Board finally adopted the budget for 2017.
The budget indicates that the University of Amsterdam (UvA) is financially sound. Despite a loss of €12.7 million in 2017, income and expenditure in 2018 are expected to be in balance and resources for investment are expected to become available for the years 2019 to 2021. Key indicators such as solvency, liquidity and profitability are also expected to remain well within the established frameworks/standards over the coming years.
In addition to the details of the entire University and the budgets of the various faculties, services and other units, the 2017 budget also includes the updated Accommodations Plan for 2017 (Huisvestingsplan 2017) and the 2017 IT Project Portfolio (ICT-projectportfolio 2017).
