Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage

Conservators and technical art historians who are trained at the University of Amsterdam may have found positions at institutions in the Netherlands or abroad, spread over the country and the world. Others have started a private practice and work for museums and private collections on a freelance basis. A background at the University of Amsterdam is what all joins them. Staying in touch and creating new connections is what the Amsterdam University Association (AUV) facilitates through the 'Alumni Network for Conservation and Restoration'. This alumini network welcomes alumni from the training programmes Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, and its predecessors ICN and SRAL, and encourages alumni, post doctoral researchers, postdocs and lectures to sign up and join the networking activities.
