What does it entail?
- You’ll come to the UvA and attend a lecture, practical or tutorial of the degree programme of your choice. Some of the programmes offer the Experience Days online.
- You can join more than one Experience Days session. Check out the programme overview for all the dates and times.
- In most cases the sessions do not provide general information about the study programme, about career possibilities for example. If you are looking for more general information take a look at the programme information on the UvA website, download a brochure or join the UvA Bachelor’s Week.
Should I prepare something?
- We expect you to know a thing or two about the degree programme already. You may have joined a session during the UvA Bachelor’s Week for example, or watched a video or read about the programme online on the programme page.
- For some Experience Days sessions you’ll have to complete an assignment or read a text beforehand. In that case you will receive information about this via email.
Who is it for?
These sessions are specifically meant secondary school students from 5/6 vwo and college students who have already looked into a Bachelor’s programme by joining a session during the UvA Bachelor’s Week. The Experience Days take place during the week, so you will probably need to take some time off school.
