    The humanities in secondary schools

    Within the Faculty of Humanities I coördinate  and initiate contacts between researchers at the university and teachers in secondary schools. Forms of contacts are for instance the professionalizing of teachers in post-academic courses,  but also more extensive research projects such as a PhD project for teachers (e.g. the 'NWO promotiebeurs voor leraren'). 

    My own research concerns both Latin linguistics and the instruction of Latin and Greek in (Dutch) secondary school settings.
