    My research interests include leadership, employee creativity and innovation, voice, achievement motivation, and taking credit.

    Currently, my research focuses on the following topics:

    - Idea promotion by leaders. How and why do leaders promote voiced creative ideas?

    - Leaders’ reactions to voiced creative input. Why is it that some leaders are receptive to, and supportive of, voiced creative input, whereas other leaders tend to shut the door?

    - Lifelong learning. Learning communities (LCs) are in vogue to promote organizational learning. Yet, a theory that explains whether, when and why LCs work is missing. In this line of research, we develop and test an innovative ‘bottom-up’ model of how learning takes shape within LCs and how learning transfers from LCs to organizations.

    - Taking credit. To what extent do leaders take credit for voiced ideas of subordinates? What determines whether leader’s take credit for others’ ideas?
