After your Bachelor's

With your Bachelor's degree in Econometrics you can gain automatic entry in the Master’s of Econometrics and specialise further in a specific discipline.

You can take a Master's programme at the UvA's Amsterdam School of Economics or at another university. Whichever Master's programme you choose, it will add necessary depth to your knowledge.

Master in Econometrics

You can further specialise in econometrics by taking the 1-year, English-language Master's programme in Econometrics. In this programme, you can choose from a variety of tracks: General Econometrics, Financial Econometrics, Complexity and Economic Behaviour or Data Science and Business Analytics.

Other Master's programmes

During your Bachelor's programme, did you take a minor in a specific discipline? If so, you may be eligible for admission to the Master's programmes relating to that discipline. For some of these certain admission requirements apply. For example, with a Bachelor's degree in Econometrics, you can also be admitted to the Master's programmes in Actuarial Science and Mathematical Finance, provided your electives are compatible.

Career in research

If you are interested in a scientific career after completing your Master's, you can conduct research and pursue a doctorate at the university.
