Academic Excellence Track

Application and admission

The Academic Excellence Track (AcET) is a selective Honours programme. Students with a grade point average (GPA) of 8 and higher can participate in this programme. Intake to AcET will be capped to approximately 30 students per year.

Application and admissions proceeds in three steps:

  • First, eligible Master's students will receive an invitation to apply when the results of the first two blocks of the first semester are available. (selection cut-off date will be 28 January 2022).
  • Second, eligible students from all LLM programs (Dutch + English) have to submit an application.
  • Third, in the event that there are more applications than placements, the Amsterdam Law School will make a selection based on your application and motivation. Also an interview can be part of the selection procedure.
