In the Environmental Management track, you learn to combine knowledge on hydro- and geo-ecological systems with inter-disciplinary approaches aiming for the sustainable management of the environment. Examples include the management of nature reserves, urban blue-green spaces, and the revitalisation of degraded landscapes.
Tackle environmental management problems for the sustainability of society
This track focuses on understanding some of the threats facing Earth systems, and conserving and managing these systems with sustainable solutions. You will be trained to apply knowledge on how to tackle environmental management problems for the sustainability of society in either a professional setting or in research. The track consists of one year of Earth Sciences courses, followed by a year focused on environmental management. In that second year, you do an internship at a company, governmental or non-governmental organisation.
