Spotlight on a course: L2 in the classroom

This course provides an overview of approaches in second language pedagogy like grammartranslation approach, task-based learning and teaching, and content-based learning. You will examine a number of features of second language pedagogy, including the role of motivation, individual learner variables, error correction, language learning strategies. You will also have the opportunity to see how theories of learning and teaching play out in real instructional settings through video and audio recordings of L2 classes.
