The Master’s track Brain & Cognition in Society provides its graduates with the necessary theoretical, intellectual and empirical tools to find work in an applied context. Our students have obtained careers both in the academic as the business world, with NGO’s or more commercial companies.

Skills

We have various social partners interested in students/graduates with the type of expertise provided in our Master’s programme. These partners advise us on the skills, knowledge and characteristics that improve career prospects in our complex and fast-changing society. Our partners also offer internships to our students.

The Student Careers Centre is there to help with your career development. You can contact them to discuss your options, ambitions and doubts at any time during your studies.

Your diploma is not a farewell

After graduating, you don't have to say goodbye to the University of Amsterdam! We are happy to help you develop your career. You can join the young alumni programme, which will assist you in mapping out your career. And as an alumnus, you can also still use the Student Careers Centre.
