What's the difference between the Spatial Sustainability Studies track in Human Geography and Urban and Regional Planning?
The programme allows you to chose between graduating as a Human Geographer or an Urban and Regional Planner. In terms of content, students take either a core geography or a core planning course in period one. And students will write their thesis in one of the two fields under supervision of a planning or geography staff member. The other courses will be followed together. To summarize, one core course (6EC) and the thesis (24EC) is what seperates the two tracks. The other 30 EC of courses are combined.
