Companies need to deal with different stakeholders: clients, suppliers, competitors, the governmental bodies and so on. One important group of stakeholders are the companies’ employees. How do you attract talented employees to work for your company or team? How do you motivate your team members? How can you manage and reduce stress at work and try to make sure that your employees are happy and engaged at work? In this minor we will focus particularly on how to understand and manage the people in a company adequately.
What will you learn in this minor?
This minor enables you to solve issues around human resource management (‘people management’). You will be encouraged to adopt a critical approach towards the many theoretical perspectives within the professional field and then apply the knowledge that you have gained to practical situations.
Transition to a Master
This minor does not provide direct admission to the Master’s programme in Business Administration. Depending on your Bachelor's programme, it may provide enough in depth knowledge for a conditional admission. Find out more information on the Master's in Business Administration website.
The minor contains of 30 EC and can be completed in one year (two semesters). For 2021-2022 the programme includes five compulsory courses of 6 EC each.

This minor has a limited capacity and works on a first come first serve basis. Please note that your can only apply for one minor at the Faculty of Economics and Business. All other applications at our Faculty will not be taken into consideration.
