The Amsterdam Law Clinics offer students valuable experiential learning focused on lawyering skills and providing pro bono legal advice to a variety of organizations. Students learn how to effectively collaborate with clients, to work as practitioners on projects and provide legal advice using a multidisciplinary approach.
At the Amsterdam Law Clinics students work on a wide variety of cases and projects that see to a broad range of public interest issues. Topics may range from environmental issues and human rights protection, to responsible business conduct and the right to a fair trial.
Working with clients provides students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on legal experience while increasing their knowledge of the law and sharpening their legal skills.

To enhance your learning experience with respect to both the law and legal skills, the Amsterdam Law Clinics provide a unique clinic programme. As part of this 6-credit clinic programme, students work on a case (the clinical work) and participate in an interactive seminar devoted to legal skills, public interest lawyering and professional ethics (the seminar component).
Amsterdam Law Clinic provides not only with the great opportunity to acquire or further develop knowledge on the particular field of law but also the chance to gain practical skills which are of utmost importance to the legal profession.
