Digital Emotions is a new UvA research group launched this summer. The group unites experts in media studies, cultural history, sociology, music, anthropology and philosophy, who together carve out and explore a fresh niche of scholarly investigation -- emotions and feelings in digital cultures.

On Wednesday 28 August the kick-off of the Digital Emotions project will be celebrated with a talk by Dr Adi Kuntsman from Manchester University's Research Institute for Cosmopolitan Cultures. Dr Kuntsman is a renowned expert on digital media, emotions, and gender. On the 28th, she will speak about  Digital Media, Political Feelings and Transnational Connections.
