De Goede Gesprekken #13: Earthquakes in Turkey and Syria

How are the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria affecting our students? And what can the university, staff and fellow students do to support them? Dean Marieke de Goede asked students Zeynep Koban and Sherwan Qasem, who both have family and friends in the affected area.

Following the tragic events, the faculty organised a meeting for staff and students last Friday, initiated by Zeynep Koban and others. The faculty also donated 1 euro per student to Giro555, totalling 8,844 euros.
