The Amsterdam Institute for International Development and the World Bank are pleased to invite you to the award ceremony for the winners of the AIID/World bank Thesis Competition in International Development 2005. The ceremony will be opened by Mr. Cyril Muller who is a Special Representative for Europe for the World Bank. His speech will be about ‘A perspective on Africa’s development’.
The programme for the ceremony will be as follows:
- 15:00 - Welcome and introduction
- 15:15 - Presentation by Mr. Cyril Muller
- 16:00 - Jury reports and granting of the awards
- 16:30 - Drinks and informal continuation of the meeting
