Andries Polman has been named interim programme director of the Post-Master Accountancy of the Amsterdam Business School’s Executive Programmes. The appointment is until 1 September 2011.

Andries Polman has been named interim programme director of the Post-Master Accountancy of the Amsterdam Business School’s Executive Programmes. The appointment is until 1 September 2011. During the coming months, Andries will be involved in the programme’s set-up, the intake procedure and with external contacts such as the Commissie Eindtermen Accountantsopleiding (CEA).

Andries Polman (1967) has worked at the Post-Master Accountancy (PMA) programme since 2003. After a nine year career in external accountancy practice (Ernst & Young) and a 15 month trip around the world in 2001 and 2002, he moved into the field of accountancy education. In addition to his regular lecturing duties, he also holds the position of course coordinator (and later deputy programme director until 2010) at PMA. Following an initial university degree in Business Economics, Andries followed an accountancy programme at the VU University Amsterdam, where he graduated as a registered accountant in 1996.
In addition to his work at PMA, he also provides training in the area of Financial Auditing and gives courses for continuing professional development.
