The University of Amsterdam and the contractor are discussing finding a low-noise option for placing sheet pilings at the Roeterseiland construction site.

The sheet piling is being put in place for the new construction site across the Nieuwe Achtergracht. Construction work was temporarily halted recently due to excessive noise levels. More information with details about resuming this construction work will be available in a few weeks and communicated to FEB staff. The work on the construction site located at the Valckenierstraat and work in the B/C building will continue as scheduled.
