Starting Tuesday, 18 October, sheet pilings will be placed on both sides of the Nieuwe Achtergracht (bordering on the E-building and C-building). This work will take approximately two weeks, but it is difficult to predict exactly how long this process will take - placing the sheet piling can take longer if any obstacles in the ground are encountered.

The noise resulting from this work is expected to create additional disruptions. In order to keep this to a minimum, it was decided after consultations with the municipal Environmental and Building Department to use vibration technology for placing the sheet piling.
