Nitrogen storage tanks replaced next to building E

Nitrogen is regularly used in the laboratories for teaching and research at the Faculty of Science. Next to building E, you can find two large storage tanks. On September 22, two new nitrogen tanks were installed. The old tanks had to be emptied before they could be disconnected. This resulted in this beautifully misty picture!
26,000 liters of liquid nitrogen can be drawn from one tank. The other tank, containing 124,000 liters, is used for making gaseous nitrogen. Next week, the fence around the tanks will be replaced.
