In the 2022-2023 academic year as well, students who were unable to complete their degree programme due to COVID-19 or the related restrictions can nonetheless enrol in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme.
As in previous years, the study delay in the Bachelor's programme may not exceed 15 credits. If the study delay is greater, it will not be academically feasible to complete the programme (as that would require attaining an infeasible number of credits in the Master’s programme). The exemption does not apply to pupils in secondary education.
The conditional financial support in connection with a study delay only applies to students with a prior degree from a country in the European Economic Area (EEA). The standard financial support scheme will continue to apply to students with a prior degree from non-EEA countries.
The UvA degree programmes will inform prospective students as soon as possible about the exact conditions per degree programme and how they can enrol.
