For every litre of water used in the UvA-AUAS coffee machines, MAAS is donating the cost of producing a litre of clean drinking water in developing countries. This is done through a programme called 'A litre for a litre' by the foundation Made Blue. In 2019, we donated some 682,262 litres, enabling 68 children at school and two families at home to have clean drinking water for the coming ten years.
