Besides the good ranking of the UvA and VU worldwide, it is Amsterdam itself that I am in love with. It combines the international charm of a capital city with a scene that is best compared to a village.

'Amsterdam centre is actually small and you always run into people you’ve met before. You can quickly get around on your bike and rush to your lectures after a good night of partying.'
'One of the main reasons for me to choose this Master’s programme was the fact that it was something different than mainstream business administration. I liked the diversity: it really focusses on every aspect of entrepreneurship, such as new business ventures, intrapreneurship, social entrepreneurship, finance etc. Even when you are not planning to start up your own business, it’s nice to learn how to think critically and be creative and innovative with an inspiring group of students. Everyone has strong opinions and by means of the many group assignments, you learn how to exploit great ideas as a team.'
'The programme offers a combination of mandatory and elective courses, which allows you to choose courses in your field of interest. What I personally liked the most was the “Capita Selecta” opportunity, which allows students to do an internship or research for their Master’s thesis abroad. Together with 7 fellow students, I’ve been to Tanzania, studying the impact of mobile money on SMEs. Such an amazing experience and it’s wonderful that the curriculum allows this!’
