On Thursday 3 October, a  successful UvA Startup Market was held at the newly furnished Binnengasthuis 5 in Amsterdam. 

The UvA Startup Market featured the newest Amsterdam student-startups as they presented their first results and prototypes with the aim of bringing their new ideas to the market and getting feedback from the entrepreneurial community.

Expansion

Starting with this edition, the Startup Market has opened its doors to other ambitious student-entrepreneurs. Startups of the joint UvA/VU Master Entrepreneurship and HvA’s  Master Fashion Enterprise Creation were also present and received a lot of valuable feedback.

The Nursery

A special detail of this edition of the Startup Market was that it took place for the first time in The Nursery. This is the newly opened non-profit co-working space for UvA students and recent graduates. In The Nursery they can rent workspace at an amazing location, for a low price and with other like-minded student-entrepreneurs.
