What do students and alumni think of our Master's in Business Economics? Why did they choose this programme and do they have useful tips?
Thierry Wetzel feels that with the Competition Law and Economics track you develop a useful skillset. 'Going full speed from the beginning, you follow well-designed courses, strongly related to one another. This lets you see the bigger picture of the programme right from the start. Even though the programme is quite demanding and challenging, you develop a useful skillset. This makes it well worth the effort.'
For Guy Tocker the programme can be a bit overwhelming at times. 'But the lecturers are quite flexible and always willing to assist when asked to. With students coming from a variety of countries, the environment is very international. Bringing a lot of fun and interesting experiences.'
For alumnus Sabyasachi Sengupta, studying Business Economics at the Amsterdam School of Economics was a great decision. 'The courses always encouraged to do a deep dive analysis on subjects and that skill has been very effective and useful at work.'
