Archaeology of Northwestern Europe (Archaeology)

Accreditation and academic title

NVAO accredited programme

The Master’s programme Archaeology of Northwestern Europe forms part of the broad label Archaeology.  The quality of this programme has been positively assessed by the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO). This means that upon successful completion of the programme students will receive an accredited Master's degree in Archaeology and the title Master of Arts (MA). You can find more information on accreditation and degrees via the links below.

Once you enrol at the UvA, you will also automatically be enrolled as an elective student at the VU University Amsterdam. You will receive a diploma from the UvA once all of the course components have been successfully completed. If you enrolled at the VU, the exact opposite applies. You will therefore receive one diploma from the university at which you originally enrolled.
